Welcome! If you’ve landed here you love reading sexy fast-paced romance with hot alpha males, and the strong independent women who love them. It’s what I love to read and have even more fun writing.

I’ll never forget my very first romance read. It was a borrowed Danielle Steele when I was probably about fourteen. Going Home was the title, and I devoured it and every one of her books that followed. It wasn’t just the love story, but the fabulous locations she brought the reader to in every single book. Her romantic stories were so inspiring to me. I believed (and still do) in a happy ending, and if they take place somewhere fabulous, all the better.

I found my fabulous locales vacationing on Sanibel and Captiva Islands. The beach, any beach has always been my sanctuary, and these islands off the Southwest coast of Florida are where my stories are set and where my “Island Series” begins. But before I tell you more about that here’s a little about me.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts and now live in Florida. I’m married with two awesome college aged kids, two goofy dogs and a cat. My husband and I have been married for twenty-five years and together for twenty-nine. To me, ours is the ultimate love story—it was love at first sight. He’s a good man and provides lots of inspiration!

While living in Massachusetts, Sanibel and Captiva became our favorite vacation spots year after year, so after living through way too many harsh winters we decided to move with our two small children to Sanibel. We spent nearly four wonderful years there before family and business obligations brought us back to Mass. Shortly after our return is when I began to write the first book in my “Island Series”, The Three Sunrises. It was December, we’d only been back a few months, and I was already longing for the island life. I got it back by putting pen to paper and living vicariously through my characters. Seven long years, three more books written, and a few tough winters later, my family and I made the decision to move back to Southwest Florida, and vicarious living became a thing of the past.

I’m currently working on the fifth book in the series, A Little Bit of Paradise. I’m very excited for you to meet my new characters and get reacquainted with some old friends as well. (And maybe it’s weird, but I do think of them as old friends.) Developing these characters, creating the lives they live, and the loving relationships they’ll form is definitely my favorite part of the writing process. It’s fun, and it keeps me young at heart! In a nutshell, my goal and my hope when I’m writing is simply this—to have these stories provide a fun, romantic, and sexy escape for you, the reader. Nothing more, nothing less. Who couldn’t use a little escape now and then in this crazy world?

I hope you’ll enjoy reading these stories as much as I love writing them!

Ps. Please leave a review on my Amazon page after reading, and on my guest page here. I’d love to hear from you. Thanks for reading!
